Was anyone else amused by the fact that they held the auditions at the racetrack? That was kinda cool.
That said. I cannot wait for the audition rounds to be over. I feel like it's such a waste of my time. There were a few potentials last night. I just can't wait to see them hash it out in the all new Hollywood week! I wonder how that's gonna go.
The girl at the very end Leneshe Young could go far! She's sweet and talented.
I get a little bit annoyed when I find out that people who are auditoning have already had A. a recording contract or B. been a contestant on another show. Brent Keith was part of Nashville Star season 2. Now he's a cutie and his specialty is Country music and that is right up my alley... BUT - isn't this show supposed to be about making a super star out of someone who wouldn't have had a chance another way... Like Carrie Underwood. She was a small town girl who had never left Oaklahoma before trying out for Idol. I guess I'm just craving that kind of incredible everytime.
